Paris: Ticket for Cité de l'architecture & du patrimoine

3. Paris: Ticket for Cité de l'architecture & du patrimoine

Experience the largest center of architecture in the world and go in one of the buildings of the 1937 World's Fair located opposite the Eiffel Tower.  Start at the Palais de Chaillot and cross the portal of Vezelay (the façade of an 800-year-old church from central France), a masterpiece of Romanesque art reconstituted full-size and reaching almost 10 meters high.  Spend time on the balcony of the apartment of the Cité Radieuse built by the famous architect Le Corbusier, before passing under the Dome of Cahors. Marvel at the extremely impressive example of a decorated dome from the 12th century in the south of France and admire the magnificent work of the artisans of the time in all its completely preserved glory. Take in a picturesque view of the Eiffel Tower. See the Museum's collection that brings together a selection of the monuments and frescoes depicting the excellence of French architecture. Reproduced life-size and down to the smallest detail or presented in the form of models and drawings, these emblematic French exhibits represent an exceptional collection from throughout the last 1000 years. See the masterpieces presented in three galleries of the Cité (casts, murals, modern and contemporary architecture) creating a magnificent ensemble of French architecture, covering more than 20,000 m².  Go on a totally immersive experience and move from enjoying a proposed version of the Arc de Triomphe to the Neptune fountain. Reflect on the smile of the Angel of Reims and admire the brush strokes of the Dome of Cahors. From Chartres to Marseille, from the Middle Ages to the twentieth century, every step invites you to cross time and space to appreciate the beauty and elegance of the evolution of French architecture over the centuries.

The only thing I didn't pay attention to was booking the times… many tours require a pre-booking. Of course it's my fault But just to leave a tip here And the Tower only gives the right to visit by the stairs. Elevator we had to pay another 17 Euros each to go up by elevator.

4 days are obviously not enough to explore the whole Paris, but with such thing as Museum Pass you could make your staying there much easier.

I recommend buying the museum pass, it allows you to enter the museums avoiding queues and long waits.

The pass was very worthwhile AND it allowed us to go to the front of the line for all museum entries.

Very practical, works perfect and good cost advantage compared to buying tickets individually.
