We arrived 30 mins early, as advised, and were taken to collect our tickets and get in with minimal queuing, as advertised. Perfect! Wear comfortable shoes, though. Somebody should tell the staff in charge at the Sistine Chapel that shushing people over loudspeakers defeats the object, destroys any last vestige of awe, and that as regards photography and video, that ship sailed decades ago. We attended the blessing of the crèche by the Pope, and every person there had a phone out. If people want their own record of visiting a place which is as much of a draw to Rome as the Eiffel Tower if to Paris, they shouldn’t be treating their customers/visitors/guests as if they were children.

Good morning, I visited the Vatican Museums on January 4th ....... first time. I was literally enchanted by the majesty of these rooms, by the size and richness of their historical artifacts. I highly recommend booking with Get tour Guide, they guided us right inside the Museums. Punctual and very precise organization. Roberto Bonfatti Gerola MN
