2. Hop-On, Hop-Off Tour: Cathedral, Financial District & More

This hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tour on board a double-decker bus will take you to all the most important sights of Frankfurt, like St. Bartholomew's Cathedral, site of the election and coronation rites of the Holy Roman Empire, and the Financial District, now Europe's most important banking center. Visit the historic Old Town, its famous City Hall – called Römer for its association with the Emperors – the Cathedral, the Church of St Paul, and Goethe's house. And of course there is the Museum Riverbank, one of the most important cultural districts in Europe, containing the Old Opera House, the scene of internationally renowned premieres. Well organized and very informative. We had the last ride of the day (start 5:00 p.m.) and it took longer than planned due to traffic jams (rush hour). Please plan for this if you plan to do any activities afterwards. The friendly driver was a real artist as he confidently steered the big bus through the narrow streets with their cars parked all over the place - hats off!

Great insight! I had booked the Skyline Tour because you can drive both routes and also stop at different sights. (1 hour Express and 2 hours Skyline - it says on the front of the bus which one you are doing) The audio guide works well and everyone gets their own headphones. I can only recommend Hop on/Hop off, everyone who hasn't been to Frankfurt should do it.

I love this type of tour! The bus tour offers a great opportunity to see the whole city in just a few hours with an excellent guide in headphones. Thank you very much for an interesting tour!

Great for getting an overview and some knowledge about the city! The driver was very friendly and skilfully drove through the sometimes very narrow streets!

Easy to find 1st stop at edge of Old town city square. Lines overlap in some sections but overall good info on city.
