Emotional and memorable experience of our trip to Naples, almost 3 hours in which we really entered the soul of the city, through fragments of its history admirably told by our guide, Carlo Zarone, simply splendid in his polite, ironic, competent communication , rich in historical and cultural ideas, without ever bordering on the know-it-all. In front of the Veiled Christ, his examination of the work, not limited only to the artistic aspect, albeit predominant, but also to a sort of emotion that this marvel of human genius generates, deserves to be recorded and disseminated in schools, for the emotion that aroused in all of us. If we take home the memory of a city that embodies the word "emotion", it is also thanks to this tour and to Carlo, for the heart and expertise he has put into it.

I would do it again a thousand times! Absolutely recommended tour because visiting Naples Center with a local guide is very different than visiting it as a solo tourist. The guide shows buildings, historic and characteristic corners of the city that might escape the view of a non-local. Furthermore, our guide was particularly helpful and kind even in recommending the best bars and restaurants in the center. During the tour, really interesting facts, anecdotes and myths typical of Neapolitan history are also narrated. Finally, the Chapel of San Severo absolutely deserves to be visited, certainly for the Veiled Christ but also for all the other works present. It is advisable to book the tour several days in advance especially if you are visiting during a holiday period.

Our guide was perfect. His engaging and complete explanation was the real 'gem' of this tour. The veiled Christ, already in itself an unmissable stop on the trip to Naples, has been further enhanced by a unique and compelling description.

magnificent exerience, the tour of historic center of napoli and entrance to the san severo chapel the veiled christ
