I went on a day trip to York. I visited Railway museum, York minster, Jorvik Viking centre, York Dungeons, cruise ship and city sightseeing. The York pass is worth every penny as it gives you access to a number of places. But do keep in mind that you need to book entry tickets for them separately. If the links to all of them would be mentioned in the York pass website that would really be helpful. Also, the city sightseeing bus stops operating from Exhibition square after 5:30. I did not know that and as a result could not make full use of the bus. Overall it was a very wonderful trip. I recommend it to everyone.

Plan, plan, plan before purchasing. We did a 3 day York ticket, and made the most of it. The itenerary was day 1- 9 am York viking centre, 11 am Chocolate tasting, 12 pm Van Gogh experience, 2 pm The Hilt/alternate experience. Day 2-10am Dungeon DONT miss this! 12 Ouse river cruise, 2 pm Cliffords tower, 3.15 catch hop on off bus to Shambles. Day 3- York castle museum, hop on bus to York Minster at 12.45, lunch at 3 pm at Ask Italian

The York pass was really good value for money and we visited more place’s because we had it and the lunch at Ask Italian was excellent. It was really easy to use and would recommend it for families to help budget for your trip.

So easy to down load and no fussing about paying when you arrive at the attraction.

all included activities are interesting and worth it!
