Our guide, Ray was excellent, but the microphone system used on the bus was substandard. We were sitting in the back of the bus and had to strain to hear him at best-couldn’t hear him at all when the bus was moving at any speed. I am sure we missed out on a lot of good information as a result

The tour to Dyker Heights was really great. It's crazy to see this sea of lights and to find out how much money is being spent on it. The approximately 1-hour walk brought us to various light installations, all of which were special in their own way. Anyone who is in NY at Christmas time should definitely do the tour. Unfortunately, there were also some participants in the fully occupied bus who traveled without a mask, and the tour guide didn't take care of them either.

This was such a great thing to do!! The Christmas light displays in Dyker Heights are absolutely gorgeous. Pick up point in Manhattan is very easily reached,it’s right at the pedestrian area directly across from Macy’s . There are lots of tables and chairs and if you’d like to sit and wait and also lots to see within a few minutes walk. Drop off was at the Lotte Palace Hotel in Midtown, but they also stopped along the way if you needed to get off before that. Our guide was Fred. He was so good! Native New Yorker so he had lots of interesting stories about the history of the different areas that we drive through. Bus was very clean and comfortable. We had gorgeous weather for this and it’s something not to be missed. Hats off to the residents of Dyker Heights. It can not be easy putting up with the enormous amount of people that descend on that beautiful neighborhood every year,but clearly they want everyone to have a wonderful time.
