A practical approach is key when learning new things, so you’ll be doing a lot of eating and drinking. You'll be paired with guides that are passionate about the place they call home and who choose to spend their free time sharing it with like-minded travelers matched to them. You can try innovative craft brews from Williamsburg microbreweries or venture further into the historic neighborhood to discover how its brewing heritage began with German migrants in the 19th century. Sip American Pale Ales and Pilsners, as well as stop by an emerging brewhouse or two which are re-igniting the craft beer scene, as well as a warehouse that was used as a secret brewery during prohibition!  Do not worry, this tour does not forget about the pizza, and there really is nothing like a Brooklyn slice.
