1. City Sightseeing Norwich Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour

In Medieval times Norwich was one of the greatest cities in England. Now dominated by its 12th century Cathedral and Castle, built by the Normans with stone imported from France. The Castle is the County's principle museum. The historic Norwich Anglican Cathedral is well worth a visit. The church, which stands proudly on the city’s skyline, has always been greatly loved by the people of Norfolk and was recently voted Norfolk’s favourite building. Visit the shop, library, catch an organ recital or attend one of the church’s regular events. You will be enchanted by Elm Hill’s famous, cobbled medieval street which is home to a number of speciality shops and cafes. Norwich is now one of the top five shopping destinations in the United Kingdom. Hop off at Theatre Street for Norwich Market and The Forum by Jarrold (Norwich’s flagship, independent department store), for the very best art and gifts of the Eastern region. Castle Meadow offers The Mall and Colman’s Shop & Museum. The stops along the route are as follows: 1. Castle Meadow East Side 2. Bus Station 3. Cleveland Road 4. Theatre Street 5. Castle Meadow West Side 6. Tombland 7. Britannia Road 8. Riverside Road 9. King Street

Great tour of the city with a very friendly driver. We missed the first stop as the meeting point given by the app was incorrect. We weren’t alone! Another couple were equally confused and you couldn’t see the actual bus stop because it was a lot further up the street around a bend. When we hopped on in the afternoon after a lunch break the tape had stopped working so no commentary. Overall we enjoyed the day and would do it again!

We took two friends who have never visited Norwich before
