Full description
Visiting the Louvre with a special children’s guide is a fantastic way to give kids a taste of this important museum. Covering more than 650,000 square feet of space it is one of the largest, and busiest, museums in the world and an important landmark in Paris. The Louvre exhibits over 35,000 objects and it is said that it would take a visitor up to 9 months to see them all. Visiting a museum of this size with children may seem like a daunting proposition, but a successful visit is possible. Your tour guide will focus on 2-3 exhibits to keep the kids from becoming overwhelmed and losing interest or having a meltdown. Many children (as well as adults) are excited about seeing the Mona Lisa, so your visit will start there, and continue on after this requirement has been met!

We had a great tour of the Louvre this week with our son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren, age 7, 9 and 12. Our guide was super sweet and patient with the kids telling them interesting stories while teaching all of us about the masterpieces and history. Perfect for the whole family and she was extremely knowledgeable while keeping it fun and light for kids and adults alike. I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful April visit to the Louvre with guide Frederic with our family of 6 (4 children aged 8-17 including one with special needs) The company was very attentive to our needs and even reached out before the tour to communicate and make sure everything was set. Everything went so smoothly and a tour with our age range of children can sometimes be difficult but Frederic was an exceptional guide and so kind and helpful and engaging with our children, each at their own stages. Our 8 year old said it was her favorite part of our Paris trip. We were able to learn and navigate so much more of the museum more efficiently than we would have on our own. Thank you for this highlight of our trip.

Our guide was excellent. He was very knowledgable and provided some excellent insights into the Louvre and, in particular, it's history. But the best part was how well he engaged our 8 year old son. The Louvre can be very intimidating for anyone much less a child. But our guide went out of his way to engage our son and made him a key part of the tour. We really appreciated that. I would highly recommend both our guide and Get your Guide for anyone who might be considering a guided tour
