seen all the essentials of Paris in two days - hop-on hop-off bus tour can be taken as many times as you like, hop on and off everywhere - its boat trip is a must-do: beautiful and an hour's escape from the noisy city...little one Minus: Bus didn't stop everywhere on day 2 on the last lap, another minus: mandatory start on day 1 at 8:45 a.m. at the Eiffel Tower, waiting time 45 min, as it only opened at 9:30 a.m....for that very nice and committed guide

Since we only had two full days in Paris, getting a GetyourGide Eiffel Tower combo ticket, Seine River cruise and two-day hop-on hop-off bus ticket was the best we could do. We really saw all the sights we wanted to see, had the chance to get off at any time to see attractions up close and never had to wait long for the next bus to come and continue the tour. Skip the line to the Eiffel Tower at 10:30pm in the evening. Great. And despite the 40 degrees during the day, we always had a cooling wind around us on the double deckers and the booked boat tour!

Eiffel tower good, bus overcrowded and had to stand and boat noisy

We enjoyed the 2nd floor Eiffel Tower visit in the morning but weather overcast so bought evening tickets for visit to summit. Well worth extra as weather brilliant. We then took the Bateaux Parisienne for Seine round trip. This is good way to see all central Paris from the Seine. Only drawback was we sat down below as top deck full of VERY NOISY school children. So not such a good view! The third part of combined ticket was the Hop-on Hop-off Big Bus. Very crowded and probably would not meet UK health and safety standards. We were allowed on to the bus and went to top deck. It was already full with people standing and we had no time to retrace our steps and get off before driver pull away! We remained standing most of journey. It is a good way to see the Central Paris landmarks but not STANDING!
