A lovely museum, well laid out. The planetarium show of the Northern Lights was amazing. The Ice Cave was great fun with some very low tunnels to explore, an ice throne and piece of glacier on show. Lots of hands on educational displays too on climate change and how water is used to best effect in Iceland. Please note if you want to use the local bus to get there (no 18) they only take cash, not credit cards.

This visit enabled us to experience key interest features of Iceland in a really accessible and interactive way. We saw the Aurora, visited the ice cave, saw the fantastic 360 view of Reykjavik and learnt so much! Fantastic venue and amazing value !!

5 floors of varied, informative interactive fun. Take the time to investigate all the areas and interact with the displays. Very enjoyable day out and fantastic value for money. Great way to learn about Iceland. Fantastic views.

So interesting! There is a man-made ice cave in the museum, and so many great exhibits.
