Lots of paintings and sculptures. To highlight the original sketch of the academy of Athens by Raffael, the library and some of the original sheets of the da Vinci codex. In addition to some paintings by Caravaggio and other well-known authors. I recommend about 2 hours to see it calmly

Very beautiful picture gallery, fascinating the lighting used in some rooms that allows you to enhance the colors of the works, they seemed almost backlit! The part dedicated to Leonardo's Codex Atlanticus was a little disappointing compared to expectations, although it remains an incredible collection, I did not find the exhibition up to the level of the rest of the art gallery.

Absolutely to visit, the new lighting of the paintings on the first floor is literally SPECTACULAR, they seem to be backlit. Forms, colors, details like I had never seen before. Only this is worth the ticket price. It is a pity that the whole show is not so well lit but I trust that they will do it in a short time even in all the other art galleries in Italy.
