What people are saying about Pompei

This trip was great. I would definitely recommend to friends. Elisa was fabulous! There were 6 of us in our group. We were the first ones picked up. We then picked up others. If you don’t have much time in Naples I would definitely recommend doing a tour that includes Naples. After the short tour of Naples we headed to pompei where we met up with a much larger group and were given headsets to hear Elisa. Where good walking shoes. The tour is about 2 hours. Then we got a great lunch with option of pizza, lasagna, or salad. Our group had all 3 and liked them all. And option of 1 drink: water, soda, or beer. We then got on a bus and were taken to my Vesuvius where the hike was mostly up hill. Once again would recommend good shoes such as sneakers. There was no guided tour doe this part but I didn’t feel it was very necessary. My group is very physically fit so we had ample time to walk all open areas.

Very well organized excursion; excellent guide, courteous and necessary for visits. Hearty lunch in a friendly environment. Only small negative point: the visit to a cameo "factory": purchase incentive which has no place in this excursion. Otherwise, impeccable, I recommend +++

The city tour was excellent! The guide Elisa was extraordinary, answering our questions in a clear and fun way. The ascent to Mount Vesuvius is without a doubt a highlight of the entire tour. Pompeii is an interesting historical landmark!

What can I say .. charming and well kept. The guide was good at reconstructing and telling the story "albeit dramatic". I suggest you ask a professional to better express the reality of the excavations.

Had a great time and the guides were very knowledgeable.
