Full description

This is a unique package where you can select your own personal time to go fast and direct to Pompeii and enjoy this fantastic experience at your own pace. After being greeted by a representative in Rome, you will travel south in comfort by bus Pompeii. After arriving you will be greeted and directed to the entrance point in front of the Archaeological area. Here you will be fully assisted by the staff to collect your audio guide, water, map and ticket. From here you will be able to walk among the cobblestone streets where Pompeian villagers and aristocrats alike once went about their daily activities. You can explore their homes, including recently opened residences of the ancient elite, and marvel at the brightly painted frescoes and marvelous mosaics. Following a day exploring Pompeii at your own leisure, you can return by bus to Rome with plenty of time to enjoy your evening.

The representative met us at the bus terminal as expected and explained everything. There was a bit of a wait once we reached Pompeii before the secondary bus picked us up. The transition after that was very smooth. We had 3 hours to go thru the ruins, I wish there would have been more time at this point. Otherwise it went smoothly.

The Flix bus, which was booked for us had unfortunately 1 hour late. This time was missing in Pompeii. The staff went out of their way to call us if we were on the bus and we should call when we arrive. We were then picked up immediately and everything was explained to us.

We recommend!

The bus arrived too late, due to the short time that had stayed in Pompeii, I was offered to travel back for free 3 hours later. That was great!! Get your gide is really recommended, you take care of the guest and also ask. Very good trip !! The Flixbus was new, the ride was not objectionable. I do not need to say anything about Pompeii, who should be interested in watching it! There are wells with drinking water everywhere (so you do not die of thirst), toilets and also a restaurant in the area.
