Learn more about the history of the town from your audio guide commentary. Visit highlights of the town such as the Roman amphitheater, the small theater, and the public gym. Discover what remains of shopfronts and stores.

Finding the right ticket office was quite difficult was sent to three different places, audio guide was easy, but again getting the entry ticket was difficult. Once in, the audio guide was excellent. Very informative and easy to navigate. Nice to wander at your own pace and get the information on each place that you stop at. Overall once tickets and entry were sorted a very good experience.

I went in November so no queues at all. Also car parking is very easy, Spartacus Camping just opposite the entrance is excellent. The Fast Pass collection and audio guide collection are at different entrances about 5 minutes walk away. The audio guide is worth getting but stopped working at times and you had to press every button you could until it randomnly decided to start again.

I have called customer service for asking if I can use iphone earphone for my Pompeii audio guide tour before I went to. The answer was yes, however, I couldn’t use that while I was in Pompeii and the lady didn’t seem to know the situation. It was not a big thing but a bit waste my time to queue for asking/getting the audio again. And also different from the customer service said. All experiences were okay but it is just one suggestion from me.
