What people are saying about Porta Marina, Pompeii

There are tour guides, there are great tour guides, and then there’s Marco and Refaeli whom I believe represent the superlative in what the Rome tourism industry has to offer. Our driver (Marco) knew everything there was to know about the Italian countryside on the way to our destinations and filled us in with Italian history, legends, and everything in between. Our tour guide at Pompeii (Refaeli) was a wonderfully energetic and knowledgeable historian who strolled through the ruins akin to that of a child on Christmas. My wife and I learned so much on this trip and it will certainly be one of our highlights during our vacation in Italy.

We did the Pompeii and Herculaneum tour by Askos Tours. Michael was an excellent guide! He spoke perfect English, was so knowledgeable, and was super friendly and patient with all our questions. Askos also provided a minivan that made getting from Napoli Centrale to both locations a breeze, and the driver Roberto was friendly and punctual. Highly recommend!

From our warm welcome from Roberto to the very interesting tour, this is a fabulous day spent exploring. Miguel was knowledgeable and gave us great insight into these archeological treasures

A fost super, iar experienta in sine este una spectaculoasa, te lasa cu gura cascata si este muuult mai frumos in realitate. Recomand sa veniti aici doar cand este vreme frumoasa

Great way to have easy access to the sites. Worked perfect.
