See the medieval castle of Guimarães and spend some time in the historical city center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The streets and monuments of Guimarães are so well-preserved that it is easy to imagine the past. Go on to spend the afternoon in Braga, one of the oldest Christian cities in the world.     The start of the trip was a bit long, but that was more than made up for after the first stop and throughout the rest of the trip. The guide Joana and bus driver Silvino are top notch. They provide a pleasant explanation of all the monuments and locations to be visited, all with a nice joke. Lunch was in a nice location but we got to taste better food on other days.

    Really nice tour of two important cities, was amazing to see the cultural and religious sights and hear about the history of both places from our tour guide, Nuno. He did a good job of explaining everything in both English and French for us and gave us plenty of free time as well, to explore what we wanted. Traditional Portuguese lunch in Braga was a nice touch.

    Very nice day in a small group (we were in a minivan of 8). Good pace of the visit where we discovered Braga in the morning then Guimaraes. Detailed explanations from our guide and sufficient (and not too long) free time! Excellent value for money, the lunch being of good quality :) I recommend
