As a family of 4 it made sense to us to book a private tour rather than a small group tour. Although the day was expensive, it was worth every AUD spent! The tour was advertised to start at 10am however we requested an earlier start of 9am to try and avoid some crowds. We had the most wonderful day with skipper Ciro. Ciro was extremely knowledgeable about the area, very professional, friendly and a wonderful host. He provided great recommendations on activities and worked with us to give us the day we had hoped for. Nothing was too much trouble for Ciro and the kids loved him too. We had the best day and will recommend Ciro and Restart boat to all our friends visiting Positano. Thank you!

The boat was very nice and Enzo our captain was was helpful & professional. Bring on the water was a huge treat, so beautiful! I do wish we had more communication before starting our trip. The boat ride was LONG and HOT. The lunch they set up for us in Capri was extremely expensive, (over $600 with no alcohol and my youngest had pasta with butter). We also had to wait over $45 minutes because the only way to eat at that restaurant was to take their launch, and they we’re running behind & would not take us off the boat early (not even to walk around Capri). At the end of the experience my boys were so done they didn’t even want to swim, which is what they were looking forward to the most. I wish we had the option of a shorter boat ride to Capri, grabbing an easier lunch in Capri and more time for swimming and cooling off. I would do it again, just a little different.

We rented the Gozzo 35 Apreamare which was nearly new and an outstanding boat for the waters around Positano/Capri. Our captain, Fabiano and his first mate (name escapes me) were just fantastic. Kind, friendly, fun and as involved/uninvolved as you like. The trip from Positano to Capri, the lunch spot they arranged with a front row table, points of interest pointed out to us and the caves we visited and even the return trip were a highlight of our 5 city, two week visit to Italy. Capri itself was actually an unnecessary distraction due to the crowds. Not any responsibility of our captain/guide, just the reality of Capri at this time of year. We would have much rather stayed on the boat and enjoyed our hosts and the outstanding sights of the coast.
