Full description

Visit some of Prague’s most fascinating monuments and neighborhoods on a guided tour by boat, bus, and on foot. Learn more about the history of the city and its famous landmarks with your knowledgeable guide.

For the first part of the tour, explore the charming Old Town on an air-conditioned minibus. Take a 30-minute journey past landmarks including the Dancing House, Wenceslas Square, and the National Gallery.

You’ll then be dropped at Prague Castle for a 75-minute walking tour of the largest ancient castle in the world. Walk through the grounds that occupy 70,000 square meters of space. Enjoy some of the best vantage points of the city, perfect for snapping excellent photos.

From there, head back to the Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock. Here your guide will explain its history and the meaning of its moving sculptures. You will then take a walking tour to enjoy the solemn beauty of the Jewish Quarter, the location of some of the city's finest architecture.

Finally, embark on a relaxing river cruise along the Vltava River. Sit back and unwind on an approximately 60-minute trip along the water, or head up to the upper deck and enjoy views of the city and the famous Charles Bridge.

This tour was packed with information and gave us a good introduction to the city. Our guide Martina was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and kept things moving along well. She spoke English well and did a good job of informing us about other activities and tours we might be interested in doing. We visited the castle, some other nearby sites, then visited the astronomical clock and the Jewish Quarter before taking a boat ride down the river. It saw more than I probably would have on my own and learned interesting details about the city and its history.

The tour guide Vojta was amazing, he gave us loads of facts and information about Prague including new town, old town, lesser town and the Jewish quarter. The bus trip takes you around all these areas and you can walk round them. The visit to the castle is a must.

This was the perfect introduction for a first-timer to Prague. It was the right balance of bus, boat and walking and covered many of the major attractions. Our knowledgeable guide Ladislav Stoupa informed us of the history and interesting facts along the way. There were a few free times to wander and shop and good advice along the way of places to return after the tour for further exploration.
