What people are saying about Province of Lucca

We were welcomed at the road, given parking instructions, and ushered to the porch where we were welcomed with a choice of coffee, juice, or water- the mango carrot juice was delicious. After introductions to our hosts and the interpreter, we were ushered into the home to a hands-on instruction session to learn how to make homemade pasta. We assisted in preparing the ante pasta of bruschetta and garlic toast. Afterward, we ate our handicraft and were served wine, cheese, olives, our bruschetta, followed by our pasta served with a simple tomato sauce. For dessert we had panacotta with fresh strawberries, vin santo & biscotti. The finish was coffee and limoncello. We toured the horse farm and saw the chickens, whose eggs we used in our pasta. Highly recommend Antoinetta’s pasta cooking class.

We had a wonderful experience in Antonietta's cooking class. From the first moment we met Antonietta, Piero and our interpreter, Victoria, we were treated like family and had a great time. In the cooking class, the group was small, so she always paid attention to each one of us and gave us appropriate advice. I learned a lot of things I didn't know because I had never made pasta from scratch before. As expected, all of the dishes were incredible and delicious. I would definitely make them at home to cook for my friends and family. This is a precious souvenir of Italy that we can take home and keep forever. Thank you Antonietta, Piero, and Victoria for a wonderful time!!

We had a great experience. We received a warm welcome and were able to enjoy Italian food with an international group and prepare it ourselves. Eating with the family was special and we really felt at home. The interpreter who was there translated everything very well and ensured enough interaction. This was our first experience with a cooking workshop, but it is highly recommended.

It was a great experience. With a very sweet hostess with good Italian lessons. Plus a fantastic English translator! Highly recommended

This was an amazing experience! The food was all delicious and everyone was so kind and friendly! Definitely would recommend this!
