If you are in Lucca wandering around its famous historic center, come and refresh yourself a bit with a Kayak experience a stone's throw from the walls. Whether you are with your sweetheart, with family, or with a group of friends, you can come and experience this adventure. You will be immersed in the greenery to refresh yourself with the river, where you will find some slides, some rapids and you can even swim. Throughout the journey, you will be accompanied by an expert and certified guide who will accompany you on this journey.

Begin your guided 2-hour private tour at St. Martin Cathedral in the city center of Lucca. The intricacy of the design of the exterior of the cathedral will greet you, then enter to cathedral and allow for mythical animals and ancient legends to be unveiled as you explore. Your guide will explain the symbols seen and the intriguing legends and miracles associated with them. Throughout the tour, sketch the lions, dragons, mermaids, and griffons as seen on the facades of the churches and learn to read the façades of the tower houses that once belonged to the wealthy merchants of Lucca. Continue your tour with a visit to the Church of San Michele where you will find graffiti left inside and outside of the church by silk merchants. From the church, stroll through the medieval streets of Lucca and discover the subterranean area of the city, the walls of the city. After you will visit the historic Zecca, the oldest mint in Europe founded in 650 A.D, and learn how to mint a replica of the oldest European coin. Then finsih your tour with a well-earned gelato.

This is a sport suitable for all ages, where even children can participate, ideal for nature lovers and for all those who are looking for thrills and enchanting landscapes. This is a real river descent, an excursion on a raft that does not include diving and swimming in the river, but a pleasant trip through the clear waters.

In the herbal laboratory the children perform a sensory experience, which starts by picking the aromatic herbs in the environment of Organic Agriturismo Diacceroni accompanied by our assistants. Thereafter the picked herbs will be classified in a small personal notebook, which the children also enjoy to decorate. At the end of this activity the children will make an aromatic oil which they can bring home together with their notebook. During this herb lesson, children get to know our assistants who will guide them during the laboratory and tell them charateristics about the picked herbs and how to use them according to our tradition. The staff will provide them a small basket to put the picked herbs in. During this activity your children will learn to recognize the plants and can describe them in their small personal notebook. At the end of this herb lesson the children will make aromatic oil and can bring this home together with their notebook as a nice memory to this pleasant experience. This experience depends on the weather conditions.

This is a team-building exercise that happens on a raft with a qualified guide. Rapids are traversed along the descent, and optional dives are also an option. Additionally, this game is appropriate for kids 10+ and up. The Val di Lima region, which sits in the shadow of the Tuscan Apennines, is genuinely full of surprises, including mills, historic settlements, picturesque scenery, and the best rafting river in Tuscany, the Lima stream. As you make your way downstream, you'll encounter waves, splashes, slopes, and stretches where you'll have to contend with the ferocious force of the river. You can simulate swimming against a tide and diving off a rock that is more than five meters high if you so choose.

Children can enjoy a sweet cooking class in Tuscany with assistants on hand to help, all ingredients provided, and of course, the chance to sample their masterpieces. On arrival at Organic Agriturismo Diacceroni, kitchen assistants accompany the children to their working spot, equipped with all the ingredients needed for the preparation of cake and biscuits. With the help of assistants, the kids prepare the shortcrust pastry for the biscuits, cut the pastry into shapes, and when baked, decorate the biscuits with sugar decorations. Always under the watchful eye of the friendly assistants, the children prepare and make cakes, choosing their preferred flavors for the filling. At the end of the cooking class, have a slice of cake as it comes out of the oven while enjoying the sweeping views over the hills of Volterra. Before leaving, don't forget to pack away your freshly-made biscuits to take home with you.

Ahoy, brave cyclists: discover Lucca, the wall, the river park, and the lush surrounding countryside with a comfortable trekking bike that allows you to ride on unbeaten paths and unpaved roads. Not sure on your feet yet? Before taking to rough terrain, warm up on Lucca walls: the entire route that rings the city center is ideal for cycling in the open air. Walls are around 4.2 km ( 2,61 mi ) in length and are easy to ride along, as motor vehicles are not permitted. Feel free to freewheel. The old town is mostly pedestrian or restricted to residents only. Conveniently, you can easily reach the river path thanks to a brand new bike path branching directly out from the city center.
