Full description

Experience the magic of Icelandic nature from the comfort of a jeep. You’ll be picked up in Reykjavík by a luxurious vehicle, built to go off-road. After pickup from Reykjavik and the South Coast of Iceland, drive towards Hekla. Stop in the roots of Iceland’s most active volcano. Then, continue the drive toward Landmannalaugar or Dómadalsleið to Landmannalaugar and stop for 3 hours. There are hiking options for all skill levels available. Usually, the hike is 4.5 kilometers long and takes 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to take a dip in the natural geothermal pool. Drive back, stop at Hnausapollur and marvel at the large volcanic crater with blue water inside. Move to your next stop, the infamous Sigöldugljúfur, then Sigöldufoss and Hjálparfoss before heading back to Reykjavik.

Fantastic tour!

The tour itself is just fantastic. Super beautiful landscape, simply breathtaking. I can only highly recommend it. Unfortunately our first jeep was broken, but a replacement was provided. However, it cost us about two hours, so we were under pressure for the tour. Our driver was super nice, his dynamic driving style was really fun in the highlands. Nevertheless, you had the impression that you had to make up for time. However, he drove extremely aggressively on the road and also with other jeeps in the highlands, which you simply cannot bring with guests. But all in all: madness !!

very worthwhile

With this tour we had the opportunity to see places that we would never have discovered ourselves and that probably hardly see tourists. Driving the jeep over the slopes was adventurous, but always safe. The guide was great, he gave explanations, responded to individual requests was super nice. And we were picked up on time from "home" (even just outside of Reykjavik) - great service. Highly recommended and the money is well spent!

Super great tour that is more than worth the price! There were seven of us and Valthor our guide was great! Every stop was really nice and we had enough time, Valthor never pushed or anything. The hike on Landmannalaugar was very idyllic and afterwards you could bathe in a warm spring. Highly Recommended!
