Full description

Travel from Reykjavik on a quest for one of nature’s most spectacular natural phenomena. Marvel at this breathtaking display as the northern lights dance across the night sky and light up the heavens. Hunt for the Aurora Borealis in the darkness of Iceland's countryside on a 4-hour tour that operates from September to April. If the lights are not visible during the tour, you can easily reschedule for free.

Hop in a premium minibus and enjoy a more intimate experience with better chances to hunt down the auroras. Get plenty of free time and prepare for spontaneous encounters.

As an added perk, booking this northern lights tour also gives you a free ticket to visit the Aurora Museum in Reykjavik. The free entrance is only valid on the day you join the tour from the time it is announced whether the tour is on (by email and on the website).

Despite most other companies cancelling their tours on Tuesday 31st this company carried on as planned. We were struggling to find anything but the driver Roman believed we could find something. After 3 stops we finally saw some amazing lights so it was well worth the late night (drop off at hotel was 02:45).

Absolutely fantastic experience. The guide; changed his name to Jose!! Was great. Clear about the plan, wanting us to have the best time. Found the lights at first stop. So helpful with taking pictures. The snack and hot chocolate were lovely. One of the best life experiences ever!!! Thanks again.

My dreams came true and I got to see them! I recommend visiting the museum before your tour so you can learn about how our eyes see the lights (more grey to our eyes but colorful in photos), the conditions needed to see the lights, good camera settings, and so much more! I went a couple times and the rebooking process was smooth. Unforgettable experience. I went during winter so if we didn’t see the lights, seeing the Icelandic landscape at night feels like you’re walking on the moon so it’s still super cool.
