    On this guided tour from Reykjavik, hike to Geldingadalir to see the eruption of Iceland's newest active volcano before going Northern Lights hunting at night. Start with pickup from Reykjavik, then begin your 2-3 hour hike up to the viewing point of Geldingadalir. The volcano erupted close to Fagradalsfjall, in a valley named Geldingadalur on the evening of March 19, 2021. Observe a rare display of mother nature's ferocious power as you see the lava spew forth from the earth's core. Watch as the glowing lava flows from the cone and creates entirely new landscapes. Later in the evening, meet the guide for a Northern Lights hunt to try and catch one of the greatest night show possible. Head out of the city into the deep darkness of the countryside. According to the weather forecast, the guide will find the best spot for you to enjoy the light show.

    Our guide Björk was great, she explained a lot and provided important information. The tour into the Geldingadalir valley was great. It was amazing to see the huge lava fields that were still smoking from the heat. The Northern Lights Tour could not take place that evening due to the weather and was postponed

    Excellent attitude and enthusiasm of our guide Vjeran in the morning walk through Geldingadalir, he explained many things and made our walk very enjoyable, beautiful landscapes, simply wonderful. At night on the Northern Lights walk our very friendly guide Gomybear also and although we could not see them completely they were going to make up the trip for us, however we did not have enough time.
