Full description

Immerse yourself in Iceland’s unique natural landscape on a guided tour of the island’s south coast. Visit glaciers, the Black Beach of Reynisfjara, the Eyjafjallajökull glacier volcano, and several waterfalls. Take a scenic hike around the Blue Ice Glacier Hike on Solheimajokull glacier.

Start by visiting the two great waterfalls of the south coast, Seljalandsfoss, and Skógafoss, as well as the lesser-known waterfalls Glufrabui and Irafoss. As you continue, drive under the great Eyjafjallajökull glacier volcano and the Mýrdalsjökull glacier cap.

If you’ve selected the option with the glacier hike (available on selected dates between April and October), you can embark on an optional glacier hike for about 1.5 hours and get a closer look at the Solheimajokull glacier.

Continue to Reynisfjara Black Beach, where the sea crashes upon black sands and hexagonal basalt columns and rock stacks tower over the surroundings. See two volcanoes and discover five impressive waterfalls. Visit Reynisfjara and get up close to looming glaciers.

Vlad our tour guide, picked us up on time, in the comfortable van - there was plenty of keg room, free wifi and usb charging points. Whilst we travelled Vlad kept us entertained telling us about the areas we travelled through and about Icelandic life. We had plenty of time in each of the sights we visited and were loaned crampons to walk on the icy snow - they were invaluable! The scenery on the road was amazing and the sights just stunning. Vlad was so helpful, and even managed a quick stop on the way back to Reykjavík to show us the norther lights. We bought a packed lunch and snacks with us but there was food stops on the journey. A memorable trip from start to finish - we need to return and see the sights in the summer next, and we wouldn’t hesitate booking with Nice Travel. Special thanks to Vlad

Thoroughly enjoyed this trip, our guide was Addie who was very friendly and went out of his way to add extra stops to the trip. Sadly a storm was starting in the evening so we had to head back to Reykjavik early but Addie made sure we still got to see everything. I also learnt some funny facts about Iceland while we were on the road so I definitely recommend this trip.
