Full description

Spend the day exploring the dramatic landscapes of the south of Iceland along with its coastline on a full-day sightseeing tour from Reykjavik. Along the way, discover a variety of rivers, waterfalls, mountains, and glaciers.

Following a pickup from listed hotels or guesthouses by bus in central Reykjavík, travel to the gorgeous waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. At the waterfall at Seljalandsfoss, walk behind the cascades and feel the spray on your face.

Continue to Skógafoss to marvel at the 60-meter drop. Pass the black sand beaches of the southern coast and enjoy the power of the sea.

Visit the glacier snout of Sólheimajökull to see an outlet glacier of Mýrdalsjökull. Admire the ever-changing feat of nature up-close. Then, look at the basalt sea stacks at Reynisfjara, Iceland’s southernmost village just south of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier, before returning to Reykjavik.

Amazing tour thanks to the guide Chiara and the driver Tomasz. Chiara shared plenty of interesting information, was well-organised, and was generally very friendly and made the trip as good as it was. Tamasz was also very friendly and more than happy to help where he could. On the tour itself, we saw 2 waterfalls -- Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss, the black sand beach, and our favourite, the Sólheimajökull glacier, which was stunning in winter.

The tour was very beautiful and fun. The guide was very friendly and nice people. The negative points were the delay in starting the tour, the time we spent in each place was also very little, so we were unable to enjoy the landscapes of the tourist points. I believe that in the city of Vik it would be more interesting to walk around it and get to know the church, because in fact it was just stopping at a place to eat. Other than that, the tour was good, but I wish I had more time to enjoy the views, especially on the black sand beach

This trip is absolutely stunning!! The sights you see especially in the winter are incredible and don’t even look like reality, the tour was informative and we had plenty of time to see the sights with stops to grab food and drinks. This isn’t relevant to the entire company as we used these for other tours and had incredible guides but the guide we had for this one was on the (respectfully) on the dull side and quite moody! Pick-up states 8am but we were picked up at 8:45am and left in the -10 cold for a while. Guide said it didn’t start until 8:30-9 so might be worth looking at this as email states 8am, we didn’t have this problem on other tours we did with the company however. Apart from that amazing trip, would recommend.
