Check in was easy. Our tour guide, Rob is a retired history teacher, so he is very comfortable speaking in front of a group and dealing with all kinds of people. The tour stops were organized with time to explore and take pictures. Rob knew the history of our stops and had stories about each place. He really made the past come alive and included current events. The whispering gallery at Grand Central Station was my favorite little tidbit. I will not spoil the surprise for anyone, but it was a cool effect. The walking pace was not too strenuous; no hills or fast pace. What made this tour stand out was the subway ride. I wanted to become familiar with the subway system so that I would not need to take Uber or Lyft to each location I will visit for any future trips to New York. There was a couple from England, two brothers from Ireland, a lady from India, a man from Montenegro, and I was the lone American tourist. Rob is a wonderful tour guide, and I would highly recommend him to anyone .

We saw a lot of beautiful places that I wouldn’t have known to go to. We were a bit surprised when we were dropped off at the Edge and told we needed to find our own way back. That wasn’t clear in the tour. We were picked up a few streets from Times Square and I specifically booked it because I thought we ended in the same place. They had a concierge desk at the Edge building and they were extremely helpful and called us a cab so it worked out surprisingly well.

WOW!!! Great tour. You walk a lot so be ready. This tour is a great way to get to see the Willamsburg and DUMBO neighborhoods of Brooklyn with part of Chinatown and the Lower East Side of Manhattan. You do walk across the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Willamsburg bridges. It's a challenge but a lot of fun. It's a great highlights tour.

This encounter was a very good way for me, first time to NYC, to get oriented. The price was VERY reasonable. After the tour I felt confident to tackle the subways myself and just walk the street of NYC--this coming from a guy who swore "I will NEVER go to New York!" I am now planning when I'm going to return.

Fantastic! Smooth entrance, friendly staff, totally worthwhile
