Meet your host at the Crown Tours office about 100 meters from the Colosseum. Go upstairs to the terrace above the Colosseum Metro Station and cross the pedestrian bridge. Continue about 50 meters and look for the purple flag that says Crown Tours.

Very well organized, we were informed in advance by email about the meeting point and the conditions. Nice guide to welcome and well informed guide during the tour. We had plenty of time for our own questions, photos, etc. The only drawback: we had booked a tour for a maximum of 12 people. For organizational reasons, we were then combined with another group and suddenly there were 24 people. The tour was still good but the price was too high.

Amazing tour, our guide Katrina was brilliant. There were a lot of people trying to sell my children bracelets outside but once inside they were all forgotten as we were so fascinated by the history and surroundings. We went in late May and it was very hot so take lots of water and hats.

Excellent experience, we had been given an earlier time by mistake but they gave us the Roman Forum and Palatine hill part of the tour for free. Make sure to bring plenty of water if it’s hotter months of the year. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and made sure we were happy at all times.
