Full description

Set off on a day trip from Rome to reach Europe’s most romantic city in just a few hours by high-speed train. Your tour leader will be with you all the way from Termini train station, escorting you to the platform and on board.

They will explain the highlights of Venice, and give you your ticket for Venice’s waterbus transportation. After reaching Venice in little more than 3 hours, enjoy a one-way ride on the Venetian typical public transport, the waterbus, or Vaporetto. It will be a fantastic opportunity to get the first glimpse of this magical city and its breathtaking views. Get to St. Mark’s Square, the heart and soul of Venice’s historical center. From the waterfront, marvel at the magnificence of the western façade of St. Mark's Basilica.

Take the opportunity to go shopping or sip a good Italian coffee in one of the historic venues in the center, or get lost in the labyrinth of the insanely romantic alleys. You definitely cannot miss the Bridge of Sighs (Ponte dei Sospiri), which is among the city's most beloved locations and a source of many popular Instagram shots.

On the way back to the railway station, join your tour leader for a fantastic aperitivo, or cicchetto as the locals call it: a mix of small savory side dishes typically served in the so-called bàcari and accompanied by the famous Venetian Spritz. Head back to Rome.

Venice is absolutely gorgeous place to visit. Our tour tour is amazing , she went and beyond to make sure our trip to Venice from Rome goes smoothly since my husband is handicap. She coordinated thru the train staffs to trsport my husband’s scooter. The crews are waiting for us when we got to the train stationed. When we got to Venice the vaporotte / ferry is the best way to get around Venice if you have mobility disability. I defiantly recommend this tour to everyone. If you have more time spend at least 3-4 days in Venice. Thanks Rossella for your professionalism and taking care of us.

It was a wonderful experience visiting Venice. This full-day tour is a must to do if you are in Rome. Our guide Rossella was very nice and attentive. Unfortunately, the train was delayed for 1 hour, and we had to stay less time in Venice. The operator was kind of disorganized because of this delay. We were a group of around 14 people, and we had to go another train station because we couldn't board the train at Rome Termini station as we expected. So, we had to go to another train station to board the train by taking some small vans that the operator provided. Nevertheless, it was a great tour overall despite the fact we had to rush our activities in Venice. Also, we couldn't take the aperitif neither the snack offered. I only wish I could have stayed longer in Venice.

OMG! I don't even know where to begin as it was an amazing trip!!! Rossella Ruscio was our guide and she was fun, informative, attentive and knew so much about Venice and the surrounding areas it was like having our own private guide! She even recommended a great place for lunch and that didn't disappoint either! She checked so often to make sure that we were all present and accounted for and she even took the time to care for those of us who couldn't walk as fast as the group. She made this trip worry free and super fun!!!! This was our 4th trip with you folks and we LOVE 'Get Your Guide' all of your guides are super so thank you so much for offering this great service!!!
