Divided into 7 main collections, the 1,200 rooms of the Vatican Museums includes stunning works of art collected by the popes over centuries and now on public display in the Painting Gallery, Gallery of Maps and more. See masterpieces by Giotto, Leonardo, Melozzo da Forlì and Raphael. Discover precious vases, statues, gold bracelets, and earrings in the Etruscan Museum, as well as statues of Roman Gods and Emperors. In the Sistine Chapel, you will admire Michelangelo’s ceiling and "Last Judgement," and learn about the team of Sistine Chapel painters, including Botticelli and Ghirlandaio, who assisted him.
