This was a wonderful tour! Dennis was amazing! He was helpful, funny, and so knowledgeable! Seriously, the amount of information he shared was astounding! This tour was great to explore all of the Colosseum, the Forum, and Palatine Hill. Truly worth every penny! I'd highly recommend this tour if you want to learn a lot and see everything!

Ok - I have mixed reviews about this whole experience with get your guide BUT the tour itself and our guide were fantastic. The underground is worth it for sure. My issues are with the instructions we were provided. It said “You must exchange your voucher at the ticket center to join the tour” so we went to where the ticket centre used to be apparently at the entrance to find out we are supposed to go back to the meeting point (this is a 10-15 minute walk away). Needless to say we missed our tour and we’re not provided another tour that day or even an apology that the instructions were wrong. The guide company has the tickets and you don’t need to go to the ticket centre at all. We did the tour the next day and had to pay an additional 90 euros!

Absolutely amazing tour. We spent the afternoon with Dennis in the sunshine. I really liked the time of day we spent exploring the coliseum as we got to watch the sun come down towards the end of the day. Dennis was so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, answering everyone’s questions with vigour and enthusiasm. It was very obvious he has extensive knowledge of Rome and being a ‘Roman from Rome’ made this even more impactful. I think the headsets are a great addition to the tours as you can really hear all of the details and small points made walking all of the way around. Do not hesitate to take this tour if you like to walk and explore many different areas of Ancient Rome.
