Rome: Dining Experience at a Local's Home

What a fun time! Gianluca, is an excellent chef and is sweet family were delightful. My husband and I were the only guests. We had a nice choice of anti pasta, watched him make pasta and helped slice it, then watched him make tiramisu. Sat at their table to eat with wine and finally limoncello. Such wonderful and unique experience for our 40th wedding anniversary!

We had the pleasure of visiting Emanuela’s house in Rome, it was beyond expectations! Emanuela was an incredible host, an amazing cook, and so was warm & welcoming it felt like we were visiting family. 10/10 would recommend.

It was an outstanding experience for Krystle and I. We had a splendid dinner and experience with our host Emma and Carlo. We were welcomed from beginning to end and the food served was excellent. We had an amazing antipasto pork cheek bacon bruschetta (out of this world), next we got our hands to work making authentic gnocchi from scratch which was added to a homemade tomato sauce with basil and mozzarella (to die for), then our main dish a traditional to the local area in Roma, Chicken with bell peppers in a superior sauce all served with bread to sop up the sauces from every dish. When it came time to leave, we had a difficult time hailing a taxi for some reason or another (something maybe could be accommodated in the future). Our lovely host Emma gladly drove her personal vehicle and took us to the nearest Metro station( how awesome and kind). We got to our BNB safely. This whole experience was outstanding and we would recommend this to everyone!! Well done!
