Full description
'Roma, una vita non basra.' That's how the old saying goes- a lifetime is not enough to experience Rome. But sometimes, you just have one day. This tour is perfect for those who want to tick all the boxes in a limited time such as see all the sights, learns as much as you can and make friends along the way. The local guide will tell you the legends and history of Rome while walking on the beautiful streets of the Eternal City, showing you the main sights and some not so known and some tips for when the tour is over. After a long walk, there will be time for an optional lunch in the Vatican City before starting the tour of the Vatican Museums, finishing up at the glorious Sistine Chapel. That will be 2 countries and 2 guides in one day for you. Get to know everything about this mysterious and complex museum with an official licensed guide and finish by looking up at the Sistine Chapel and skipping the ticket line to get to St Peter's, the biggest church in the world within the smallest country in the world. Sit on the Spanish Steps, throw coins in the Trevi Fountain and marvel at the Sistine Chapel. A lifetime might not be enough, but you sure can make the most of a day.

Good guides but not fully developed programs.

Good idea to be able to "see Rome in 1 day"! However, a little disorganized program yet (we understood that the tour itself was new) and some fine grinding is needed before the tour becomes "effective". Knowledgeable and nice guides and the overall experience is that we got to see a lot of Rome. We will have fond memories of this day with us home but the Vatican is what we will remember the longest.
