Experience the joy of making Italian gelato and pasta with this chef-led cooking class in Rome. Use fresh ingredients to craft dishes from scratch and discover the secrets of Italian cuisine.

Firstly, discover how to make homemade gelato using all ingredients and tools needed. Italian gelato is a specialty known all over the world and is characterized by its genuine taste and the quality of the raw materials. This part is a group activity, where you will help the chef create the gelato.

Next, make your own pasta from flour and eggs. The chef will explain the difference between egg pasta and normal pasta, bringing your attention to the consistency of the pasta sheet and to the cut.

Choose your pasta sauce such as carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe, or alfredo. Finally, sit down and enjoy your homemade meal with a glass of wine.

Very nice activity. The meeting point is very easy to find. We were greeted by a very nice person, beaming with good humor, and a glass of proseco. Everything was prepared for the cooking class: two beautiful tables with all the ingredients and utensils laid out for the class. Once the course was over, we were seated outside to taste what we had prepared, sharing the table with the other course participants, which was even more rewarding. The only downside: the activity is a little too early, we finished the lesson at 6:30 p.m. and were served before 7 p.m.... which is a little too early to eat the evening meal for my taste!

The bruschetta appetizer was really good. The gelato is made by a few volunteers. The chef went around making sure everyone was making a decent pasta dough. She was really encouraging and helpful. Each person made their own pasta. The sauce on the pasta was okay, but that might be because it's a different type of carbonara than I'm used to. The gelato was not smooth or rich, and wasn't that good. The Lemoncello shot at the end of the meal was tasty.
