Accompanied by a local chef, learn how to make fresh pasta by hand and follow a traditional Italian meatball recipe which has been passed down through generations. Meet your chef in a cozy little restaurant in Trastevere, where you will be joined by a small group of fellow aspiring pasta chefs. Spend 1.5 hours learning how to make ravioli and meatballs from fresh ingredients. There is a single station for each participant, along with a work plan, apron, and rolling pin. Watch as the expert chef teaches you the theory and practice of working the dough into pasta. After you’ve prepared your dish, sit down to savor the fruits of your labor, washed down with a glass of red or white wine and limoncello. Then walk off the meal with a stroll around central Rome. Menu: • Ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta • Pizzaiola style meatballs • Glass of red or white wine • Bottle of water • Coffee or limoncello

Everything about it was so special! Maria was a great teacher and cook. She walked us through everything, making it so easy to follow. I love that the recipes were also genuinely delicious--dishes that I know I will want to make again and now have the skills to do. I surprised my mom with this experience for her birthday, and we both loved it! Plus, getting to enjoy the meal we made all with a gorgeous view of Piazza Navona is something my mom and I will cherish forever.

Excellent, fun and informative cooking with Maria, who also speaks very good German. Insider tip for everyone looking for a German cooking course! Our daughter was able to cook very well and ask questions. And then to enjoy the self-cooked food directly on the restaurant terrace in Piazza Navona was heavenly.

Awesome fun!

Making meatballs and pasta from scratch was the best fun. Vincenzo was excellent to guide us in the pasta making process. Not sure why Caterina came in specially to show us how to make the meatballs, but I'm sure he could've done both. Either way, it was a great way to spend a few hours - yummy food, glass of wine, and all finished off with a limoncello. Bellissimo!
