Enjoy a tour of Vatican City with an expert Dutch-speaking guide. You will experience a unique visit in your own language and you will also avoid lengthy queues. The guide leads you through the Vatican Museums with highlights including the Animal Room, Laocoon and His Sons, the Torso of Belvedere, Nero’s Bath, and the Gallery with Flemish tapestries and Gallery of Geographical Maps. You'll then enter, in silence, the Sistine Chapel where on March 13, 2013, Pope Francesco was elected. Your passionate guide has since unraveled every secret of the chapel. Good guide with a lot of knowledge and passion. Sometimes a joke. Nice. Lovely tour of the Vatican Museums. We had particularly set our sights on the tour of St. Pieter, but it turned out to be deleted from the program due to Corona. That was a huge setback. Especially because we had only booked 3 days earlier, so this info was already known to the organization for a long time, but was not mentioned in the description of the tour. Fortunately we had the chance to visit St.Pieter itself a day later, but we would have liked to have known this in advance. Nevertheless, the tour was well worth it.
