The tickets are bought through a local agency, located right next to the museum. The customer service was great, very helpful and responsive people and everything went smooth. We were a group of 4 and all enjoyed the tour. We would definitely recommend it for a first visit of the museum because it helped understand the insights.

Although the tickets are bought through a local agency, located right next to the museum, the customer experience was great and both the agency and getyourguide were helpful and did a good job. As for the tour, I recommend it when going for the first time because it helps understand what you see and provides historic insigts and anecdots.

Our guide was Sevarano Pescatore. We consider him excellent. We didn't have time to finish the tour, but the 2 hours we had were very informative - he made the history come alive. Somebody will always think the tour is too short or too long, too fast or too slow. He set a pace that worked fine for us. We realized it's stressful for the guides to get their groups into the Vatican through the crowds and all set up to roll, so be patient, help them out... the headsets worked well and his explanations were clear. You meet at the GetYourGuide center a few blocks from the Vatican and walk over as a group. Be well rested and have good shoes, dress cool because the Vatican gets warm, and watch THe Borgias before if you can.
