St. Chapelle is absolutely breath taking, the experience is not very long but its worth it. You do have to go through security and also the line to get into the building, if you get the conciergerie and St. Chapelle option, you have to go through security in both and line to get in also in both, since I had a skip the line ticket that made a difference. All the security and having the police surround the buildings and having to make all those lines do take some of the magic out of the experience. But these are the times we live now. Enjoy it, it really is beautiful. Sunny or not.

Worth the wait, though be sure to take into account that skip the line tickets do not actually let you skip the line. May be waiting half an hour to get in. There is an upstairs that makes it worth it. Conciergie gave excellent opportunities for learning about it’s history.

A must see! The stained-glass windows of Sainte-Chapelle are stunning! I highly recommend going to see the Conciergerie as well. It is not well-known, but it has lots of history there. It has been updated, but they have a great video on a tablet that you take around. It shows you how it used to look, and what the different parts of the prison were for. Also, Marie Antionette was held here for 8 months, before being taken to the guillotine where the current Place de la Concorde is located.
