I bought early timed tickets online, so stood in the “:30” line. Getting through the added security (due to the high profile court case in the adjacent building) took a few minutes longer. The Chapelle was beautiful and my 19 year old grandchildren and I loved looking for Bible stories depicted in the glass.

This Skip-the-Line really works and saved us from standing in the queue under Scorching Sun. The Chapelle itself is very beautiful and full with rich history everywhere. Practical tip: - The first floor/ main floor of Chapelle si via narrow spiral stairs. Strollers have to be parked on the ground floor. And it will be difficult for people with knee problems, walking issues too climb.

We loved visiting Paris for a week and certainly Sainte Chapelle was one of the highlights for sure. I had no idea that Paris, Venice, Florence and Rome were all mobbed. There were crowds everywhere unlike any other time we have visited which is about 8 times since the 80's with 2015 our last visit early in the season like this trip. If you are booked, go but if not, wait.
