We went to the Panorama counter the day before we were going on the Eagles Nest tour. We showed the agent our morning reservation and asked him where we should wait. He pointed to the bus stop across the street in front of the Mirabel Palace and said " there at 8.40" We arrived at 8.20 and by 9 am no bus had arrived. We crossed over to the Panorama Kiosque, where a nice man immediately put us on a van with a nice driver who took us op to the bus station in Berchtesgaden where we joined the tour. We sat across the Departure street of the tour in Salzburg but saw no one there. We have a pucture from there. Anyway the tour was excellent and so was our driver from Salzburg and Thomas on location.

My husband and I liked everything about the trip. They ran right on time as advertised which we loved. The tour guide was informative and entertaining. Soft drinks and beer was sold on the price for reasonable prices. Not price gouging like most places. The bus was comfortable and starting point very easy to find.

The tour was excellently run; the tour guide charming & engaging; the scenery breathtaking. The actual end destination, while historically interesting, was not much to see. The positive, proceeds go to charity, UNICEF and that provides a reason to go. Otherwise, cringe at giving that vile monster any more notoriety.
