Gandalf (Jeff) was a fabulous guide - so welcoming and so passionate about his city! It was our first time in Chicago and this tour was a major highlight of our three and a half week trip around the USA/Canada. The food was so good and Jeff had some awesome Chicago stories to share. Bobby’s Bike Hike tours are obviously well-known and respected in the city as the locals were really friendly, waving and sometimes even cheering as we rode past - very sweet! I’m fairly certain you could pick any tour on their list and have a great time

Not gonna lie it definitely was hard to do against the wind but it was so much fun. I work out six times a week and those hills were treacherous. My husband doesn’t work out so he struggled a lot more. It would’ve been easier if we hadn’t been going against the wind. We would lose our guide on this tour because the group in front of us could handle the ride in the hills better than we could. It was an absolutely gorgeous day so we hit it just right with no fog and the weather was warm. We loved learning about the history of San Francisco at each stop. The Golden Gate bridge was extremely loud and the exhaust fumes was something we didn’t think about. I’m scared of heights and I did the bridge just fine. Biking through Sausalito was breathtaking and absolutely stunning! A lot of times our guide would say it’s all downhill from here but there were still hills to climb. That was a little misleading. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I loved sharing that with everyone on social m.
