Full description

Enjoy a day trip from Santiago de Compostela and discover the best of Rías Baixas. Immerse yourself in Albariño wine and Galician seafood. Enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the estuary and learn about mussel, oyster and scallop growing at the best place of Europe for that. At the first stop, take a walk along local vines of Albariño grapes and learn about the production of this wonderful white wine from local guides of one of the most exclusive cellars in the region. After the visit, taste 3 amazing varieties of Albariño wine which can´t be found in normal markets or restaurants, wines which are sold at the best restaurants of Europe and the most exclusive markets of the world. Move onward to one of the most spectacular beaches in Galicia, the beach of La Lanzada. Travel back in time to the 10th century to get acquainted with its history and legends. Next, the island of La Toja waits for you with its thermal history and interesting industrial past in making Spain's best soap. Discover the world of shellfish breeding on a cruise. Sail on a route passing through countless "bateas" from where the best mussels, oysters and scallops come from.

Eat as many mussels as you wish, freshly picked from the water and boiled in albariño wine. All this is accompanied by as much white local wine as you want, soft drinks, water and liqueur shots. Then make your way to the beautiful village of Combarro, built on a giant rock and dotted with "horreos", fishermen's houses and lots of stone crosses. Take a walk through tiny streets, squares, and an area of high ecological value. Centuries of history along stone streets, small shops and lots of beautiful bars and restaurants. Next, it's time to breathe in one of the only places of the Low Estuaries where we can find the native Galician forest. Enjoy the native nature of Galicia by a tiny river flowing through granite rocks and full of mills and small waterfalls.

It has been an unbeatable experience. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend an unforgettable day with a guide, in our case, Martin, exceptional. Congratulations to the whole team for planning this activity. At the different stops they leave time for you to be free and you can walk where you want and with enough time. And the boat trip with seafood tasting was great.

What an amazing trip . Fabulous itinerary and great locations to visit. Our Guide Martin was first class with his knowledge. We never felt like we missed anything other than a few jokes with the Spanish / English translations. Highly recommend this trip. Really well organised and won’t hesitate to join another in the future.

It was fantastic, both Martin the guide and Manolo the driver were great, everything very well explained. All the beautiful places visited and the boat trip with the mussels tasting was exceptional!!!! I would definitely repeat the experience. Thank you very much for making it so nice. Until next time, because I plan to visit Santiago and its surroundings again, we have to go back where we are happy and enjoy it so much, there are always places to see❤️
