This sea life sanctuary is Norfolk’s only seal sanctuary open to visitors and is home to over 2,000 creatures, from tiny shrimps to Amazonian Piranhas. Boasting a state-of-the-art marine aquarium, the sanctuary takes visitors on a memorable undersea odyssey filled with amazing close encounters with sea creatures of astonishing variety in spectacular high-tech displays. Experience the new penguin beach enclosure where you can learn how to waddle with the charming colony of Humboldt Penguins and meet the Inca Terns, the birds with magnificent mustaches. Walk through their enclosure and watch them glide underwater as you get up close and personal to these amazing birds.

SEA LIFE Hunstanton is located on Hunstanton promenade, 5 minutes walk from the town centre and has council parking nearby. There are a variety of ways to get to Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary, however we recommend driving in a car and parking at Seagate East and West car park (PE36 5BD).

  • When planning your visit please consider that the aquarium is generally quieter at the beginning of the day and late afternoon
  • Infants aged 3 years and under enter for free, however, a ticket should still be reserved for them
  • Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult, aged 18 years or over
