All the guests will be welcomed at the estate and brought to the roof of the cellar to see the most breathtaking views of the rolling hills at 600 meters above sea level. Here one of the passionate members of the team will provide an introduction to a history of the estate and a small general explanation of what guests will see and what they will be doing in the next one and a half hours of their time. Clients will be able to visit one of the vineyards followed by an explanation of the working process and of organic agriculture with some additional biodynamic techniqes that are often used and practised at the estate. If the weather permits, guests would be offered a glass of sparkling wine or a fresh wine of their choice at the small adjecent terrace built under an oak tree.  The tour will then take everyone to a visit through the gardens of the villa and include a visit of the vegetable garden. The cellar is the next stop, where detailed explanation follows about the harvest and selection of the grapes during the harvest, fermantation, and further aging of the wines. Each step of the viniticulture process is explained in great detail and guests would learn a lot of new and exciting things about how to make wines in the Chianti Classico area. The last stop is a tasting room, where guests will be able to try all 5 products of the estate with the selection of various local cured meats and/or cheeses with bread and olive oil. Guests will also learn particular details about the history of each wine, will learn how to smell and taste it, and what to look for when opening a new bottle of wine. The last exciting detail is the grappa, for those who would like to learn about its production and unique and delicate taste.

Francesco was a great guide and answered all the questions we had about the wine making process. We tasted a large variety of wines and even ordered some to be shipped back home!! The trek to the winery is a bit unpaved at the end so just be prepared when driving. All in all, I would recommend this tour for anybody interested in wine!!

Really highly recommended, small but fine winery, the guide makes everything very entertaining and clearly enjoys what he does. I actually never drink wine, but I decided to do this activity anyway and was pleasantly surprised. 5 different wines were included, we were served 7 pieces + grappa Would do it again at any time

On site we meet nice people who guided our group through the winery in an orderly manner and with a lot of humor and expertise. The small meal with local specialties and the simultaneous wine tasting were delicious. With an outside temperature of 40 degrees Celsius on the day of our visit, it was bearable under a shady canopy of leaves. The access road to the winery is an "off-road gravel road" and full of potholes. But it can be driven on with a normal car.
