    Travel to the wonderfully preserved city of Sintra on this day trip from Lisbon. Have some free time to explore the Old Town and go to the whimsical Pena Palace. Head to the coast to viewpoint at Cabo da Roca and the seaside resort town of Cascais.

    Be picked up from your accommodation in Lisbon. Sit back and relax on the scenic drive through the countryside to Sintra. Take some time to explore the vibrantly colored hilltop castle of Pena Palace or wander through the cafes, boutiques, historic estates and villas in the Old Town.  Continue to Cabo da Roca where you can stand at the westernmost point of continental Europe. Snap some breathtaking shots of the impressive views of the ocean crashing against the high rocky cliffs. Finally, arrive in Cascais, an elegant seaside resort town on the Portuguese Riviera. Stroll through the lovely city center and check out Cascais’ luxury marina, its charming fishing port, and a restored fort that houses many local craftsmen.

    Great tour! Very good tour guide! Very comfortable van, group size was good, there were 5 of us. Pickup was on time. Very early but you escape the crowds and do not have to queue. Sintra is gorgeous, be sure to visit the medieval castle in Sintra in the village. In Cascais we ate at the House of Wonders, where you can eat vegan works of art. As a passionate meat eater, I was thrilled! Be sure to google and eat there, the terraces are gorgeous! Ideal for allergy sufferers with cow's milk and gluten intolerance/allergy. The best thing about the tour: Our tour guide Miguell! A great person who loves his job. The tour is worth every penny.

    Paulo the guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, cared about our experience and was very friendly. He provide added information and details (historical) that I didn't expect and we appreciated him. Maybe my fault, I thought the tickets to Pena Palace were included (or some other attraction) and it wasn't, so I would say what could have made it better was to give us a heads up to purchase online/ahead of time to save time on the day. Would recommend this tour for sure!

    We did this excursion with Stas as a guide and, honestly, it was great. We spent a spectacular day in Sintra and Cascais, where we made several stops in cool places. In addition, we ate in a restaurant where you can try the typical food. If you go to Lisbon it is 100% worth it. Thank you for an unforgettable day. Sonia and Noelia
