The Castle of the Moors was classified as a National Monument in 1910 and it also forms part of the Sintra Cultural Landscape classified by UNESCO as World Heritage Site in 1995. Our guide was Alessandro (Alex). He was no less than excellent. He was friendly, thoughtful, attentive and informative. The vehicle was spacious, clean and comfortable. We are in our late 70's. My husband has heart problems. Alex tailored our tour to ensure we got to see as much as possible within our capabilities. We also got to choose how much time we wished to spend where within the schedule. Had we been in the area for longer we would have booked more tours with Alex. Thank you Alex for a memorable tour.

Lots of uphill walking so make sure you bring comfortable shoes. Excellent views and great people!

Our guide was knowledgeable, fun and gave us great insight. Highly recommend!
