What people are saying about Skaftafell

We loved the experience. They give you all the necessary material (even boots if yours do not reach the ankle and without paying extra), the entire excursion is accompanied by a guide who told us things related to the island, the formation of the glaciers and some anecdotes that they made very pleasant trip. Although the excursion is 3h in total on the glacier you are approximately 1h or something more.

Despite the rainy weather, our guide Lucian made it an interesting hike and showed us so many different features on the glacier. Really enjoyed the small group size. The only feedback I have for Troll Expeditions is to note in the reminder email that bathrooms are not available at the meeting spot.

Superb activity to be carried out because we don't have the opportunity like this to walk on a glacier easily and very accessible in our country!! Go there with your eyes closed if you've never done it!!

Our guide Vincenzo was amazing! It is so special to be on the glacier. Definitely recommend.

Our guide, Tina, was excellent and made the outing very fun!
