On your first day, you will go to the Famous Golden Circle. Enjoy thehe Grand Golden Circle tour, a compact 8 hour tour that takes you to a series of remarkable and diverse sites in the Southwest of Iceland in a span of only eight hours. In the Geysir geothermal area, get the chance to observe the boiling hot spring Strokkur spout steaming water up to 30 meters into the air every 8 minutes. Next, head to the iconic waterfall of Gullfoss, or Golden Falls, only a 7 minutes’ drive from Geysir, located in the glacial river Hvítá. Marvel at it's elegant and majestic form which is like no other, where the torrential river water plummets in two steps down into a 32 meters deep canyon. After this, visit Þingvellir National Park which located at the intersection of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates and is not only a site of geological wonder, but also a place charged with history, as the site of the national parliament since 930. At Þingvellir, learn its stories of geographical and political struggles, compromises and ongoing evolution. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to visit the volcanic crater lake Kerið. On the second day, embark on a 10 hour Southern Iceland tour which will take you to diverse natural pearls along the enchanting south coast of Iceland. Then, visit the waterfalls of Skógafoss, with its breathtaking 60m drop, and Seljalandsfoss, which you can walk behind and through to the other side. In Reynisfjara, or Black Sand Beach, experience the raw and alluring force of the North Atlantic and its masterfully shaped basalt column cliffs. The site is equally beautiful as it is dangerous, and should be approached with a healthy level of awe and respect. Next, take a short walk up to the glacier snout of Sólheimajökull, a sublet glacier of Mýrdalsjökull, where you can witness the dynamics of Icelandic glaciers, their formation, behaviour and rapid melting. On the third and last day, experience the range of Icelandic natural beauty in just one area—the wonderfully diverse Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Discover the charming fishing villages of Grundarfjordur, Arnarstapi and Hellnar, spectacular mountains and volcanic craters such as Kirkjufelland Ljósufjöll, the black beach at Djúpalónssandur, the majestic glacier Snæfellsjökull and the seal colony at Ytri Tunga.

While driving through the North Coast towards Reykjavik you will have a moment to enjoy the Hvítserkur and Kolugjufur Canyon. Day 5 (optional) – Borgarfjörður and Lava Caving Admire the great Hraunfossar, a series of waterfalls formed by rivulets streaming over a distance of almost 300 ft. Afterwards, see the majestic Barnafoss waterfall and Reykholt Historic Site. After getting picked up from your hotel on the first day of your tour, head to the geothermal area and see the famous Geysir, Gullfoss waterfall, and Thingvellir National Park. While traveling along the Golden Circle, you will also visit a traditional farm in Hraðastaðir, where you will meet and pet local Icelandic animals such as rabbits, horses, goats, and sheep. On the second and third day, explore the famous South Coast. Along the shore, visit the famous black sand beach, Reynisfjara, and a stunning glacier lagoon, Jökulsárlón, in Vatnajökull National Park. Here, explore Europe’s largest glacier and enter the crystal caves, a true masterpiece of nature. If nature allows, you may even get to witness the magnificent Northern Lights. On the fourth day, travel through beautiful Western Iceland. Here, explore the hidden gem of the West, Snæfellsnes Peninsula, also known as “Iceland in a nutshell”. Day 1: After being picked up in Reykjavik, your tour begins by driving on the scenic route 1 to the town of Borgarnes. From there, continue to the Borgarfjodur area, where you will visit the unique Lava Waterfalls called Hraunfossar and nearby Barnafossar waterfalls. Visit Glanni Watefall, Deildartunguhver - the most powerful hot spring in Europe and the Reykholt historic site. The last stop will be at Husafell - the woodland oasis. From here you can choose your next adventure. You can either go inside the biggest Lava Cave in Iceland called Vidgelmir or go on 4WD tour to visit relaxing Canyon Baths, stopping on the way to soak in the view of the two-tiered Langifoss Waterfall. You will then spend the night in Borgarnes - the capital of West Iceland sitting in the fjord. You will find there charming coffee houses and restaurants, as well as turf houses. The Northern Lights are also famous for playing their incredible symphony of lights in this area if the conditions are favorable. Day 2: On the second day, travel first to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, where you will enjoy watching seals play on the beach and take in some amazing sights at the many beautiful creations of nature in the area. See the Snæfellsnesjökull glacier looming as your tour continues around the peninsula. Admire the beautiful and photogenic mountain of Kirkjufell. Snæfellsnes is also home to the big seal colony that you will have a chance to see at Ytri-Tunga Beach, before heading back to Reykjavik.

Your 8-day Icelandic adventure begins with pickup from Reykjavik, then sets out along the Golden Circle, passing by Gullfoss Waterfall, Geysir, and Þingvellir National Park.
