You will have an opportunity to taste all these honey varieties and wine made of it. The owners of the meadery claim it is the only place in the world where honey wine is champagned using traditional Champagne method. After a mead tasting session, we will go for lunch to the oyster farm located on the shore of Tomales bay, a narrow and long bay, where mother nature created unique conditions for oyster farming. You will enjoy the view of fishermen’ boats floating on calm waves from the terrace of the oyster restaurant. You will taste raw, smoked and baked oysters with white wine, freshly smoked fish, and chowder. Next you will meet the Wild Flour Bread bakery that uses a medieval technology of baking whole grain brown bread and fruit pies in a clay oven heated by wooden logs. This bakery opened in 1998 in a beautiful Freestone valley, among fields, barns and cattle. Open from Fri till Mon. Then, we will visit one or two wineries in the Russian river area. What people are saying about Sonoma Valley

This half day wine tour is a fabulous experience. It was more than a wine tour. We were picked up from Union station and stoped two other places , fisherman warf and Sausalito to pick up more passengers. The Driver Grady provided great history on both areas and made it a great bus tour. By the end of the tour he was Uncle Grady . My friend and I had fun.

We actually had to be switched to the full day wine tour because there wasn’t enough people in the half day so they cancelled it. But the tour was great. We got to experience 3 different wineries and had lunch in Sonoma. Staff was friendly. The drive was scenic.

George was great, wine was great and views were exceptional. The drive was a little longer than expected but well worth it and George filled the time with interesting commentary along the way.

Great tour and experience. We we're even running late to pick up location, tour bus guide accommodated us by picking us up at another location.

Amazing day, lovely wines, beautiful views and the driver was great! Highly recommend !
