1. Paris: Charming Nooks and Crannies Bike Tour

Start your 3-hour bike in front of the City Hall. On this small-group guided tour, enjoy a leisurely bike ride through Paris historical neighborhoods. Your local guide will show you nooks and crannies of the old Paris as well as explaining you the anecdotes behind the great history. Starting on the city island, head toward St Louis Island, mostly unchanged since the 17th century. Crossing the Seine River, enter the medieval Marais, famous for its Jewish and gay neighborhoods. From middle-aged houses through trendy corners, reach the first-ever Kings Square and its magnificent buildings. Continuing through the Bastille square, demystify its legendary prison and the famous Bastille Day. Escape from city traffic and stroll along the bike-friendly path that lines the Seine River and get ready for a nice drink stop along the water. Next, discover the left bank. From the world's oldest company, which is 1154 years old, head towards the literary Saint Germain des Prés and meet Parisians’ preferred cafés and art galleries. See how the kings, queens, revolutionaries, and Napoléon mixed in a ballet that ended in blood in Odéon and Luxembourg. After resting in the left bankers preferred garden, reach the Sorbonne University and the Latin Quarter with its antic roman empire ruins mixed with the most dangerous middle-aged back streets. Joining this tour at the beginning of your vacation allows you to see a lot of the city and determine where you want to go back to.

Our tour guide Fred was incredibly knowledgeable on the parts of Paris that we toured. He brought us around to many different parts of Paris and we got to see a new side to the city. We cycled in a group of 8 and Fred had a way of making us feel as though we were all friends and had known each other before the tour. Everybody looked out for each other. The bikes were so light and very easy to cycle. We had the option of a helmet and a basket for our belongings. If possible I would recommend doing this tour on a weekday when it’s less busy as the roads and paths we took were congested with people (we did Sunday afternoon). It wasn’t an issue as such and Fred reduced pace so we were all able to manoeuvre around the crowds together. You need to be a somewhat confident cyclist to travel around the city and be familiar with road rules and cycling rules (like signalling) to ensure a smooth cycle. There were many breaks on the tour and we were never cycling for more than 7 mins at a time.

We can highly recommend the tour. The guide Clement was very good, responded excellently to all participants and guided you according to the wishes of the group. We saw great hidden places that we would not have discovered without the tour. Experiencing Paris in this way is excellent.

A wonderful tour to feel the flair of the city! Charming and informative, Clement has shown very beautiful corners and streets that leave a lasting wonderful impression. Well suited for families with young children! Thanks

An excellent way to see Paris. We were pleased that this group was kept to a low number, 8 maximum, unlike other groups that we saw. Our guide, Johan, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and made the tour a lot of fun.

We enjoyed this tour as a family Cycling in the spring sunshine I’m learning some local history was great fun The guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable
